A collection of moments from the first book retold through Dante's point of view, and some missing pieces from Dante's world we never got to see.

I love how Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe explores gender and gender roles, and this story is an extension of that exploration. It was my personal interpretation that Ari might be non-binary, given how uncomfortable he seems with gender roles and at times his own body. This is a sort of what-if story of an enby Ari. (Please no transphobic comments!)

Last summer, Dante taught Ari how to swim. This summer, he taught him how to kiss a boy. And next summer? Well, they might even discover the secrets of the universe. Continuation of the story, starts right where the book left off as Aristotle and Dante begin venturing into their new relationship.

Dante is trying to teach his class in the midst of a pandemic, and Ari ing the conversation doesn't make it any easier. OR Dante's students expose how whipped he is for his husband.

A one-shot in which Dante and Ari discuss briefly what would have happened if they hadn't't met? What if there was Dante and Ari? What if?

This is an alternate version of how Ari and Dante could have ited their feelings for each other towards the end of the book. All characters belong to Benjamin Alire Saenz. I do not own this story; only the idea of this scene is mine.

After moving back to El Paso Ari fixes up his red pickup truck and takes Dante out to the desert, the trip sparking some memories from their youth.

I don't know how to describe it really. I don't have the words to. Dante could though, he always had words for everything. He knew what that smell after the rain was called, the word for when you have something on the tip of your tongue but can't it.

Dante would be subconsciously too aware of every move Ari would make. How one of his hands would grip the steering wheel, and his other hand expertly flitted from one control to the other; manipulating and handling them. While Dante sat there, wondering how one of those hands would feel gripped in his own.
