It attempts to show engineering development, and perhaps a little project management. It is intended to be readable standalone, but follows on from "Experimental Design"

This imagines the development of the energy torpedoes from "On Basilisk Station". It uses the Honorverse as a setting, but has no main characters from the original book, or the series. I wanted to write some SF which attempts to show science being done, and I thought it curious that the energy torpedoes in "On Basilisk Station" are so much less successful than later innovations.
