With a girl disguising herself as a boy on a confined vessel such as the Leviathan, you would think that many odd and awkward things could and would happen. Unfortunately there aren't many in the books so I will be writing some of my own, enjoy!

Twelve years after the start of the Great War (and ten years since it ended), Alek sits on the throne of Austria. He's got Dylan to thank for it, but even he's not entirely sure why his best friend brought him a country. Come along for whispered secrets; shouted secrets; courtly intrigue; and of course, a long-secret romance, revealed at last.

When war erupted across Europe, Alek was in Brussels breakfasting on tea and waffles. Now with the Kaiser bearing down on Belgium, and the French and British coming to its aid, Alek will have to sneak, steal, and fight his way across the western front to get to a promised haven in Switzerland.

Oneshots with descriptions inside. I generally focus on emotional stuff, or fan-worldbuilding. First one is about Deryn confessng to Alek while he sleeps.

It is Alek's birthday, and Deryn has a surprise for him. Though it is not quite what he was expecting!

Deryn is trying to find Alek, since he is meant to be helping her with her duties on the Leviathan. Alek is organizing a surprise for her. She finds Alek, but the surprise is more than anything she could have anticipated! My first FanFic so I would appreciate reviews ;) Story has recently been rewritten.

This is sort of how I envisioned how it would be once Alek and Deryn ed the zoological society.
