In Shakespeare's play, Romeo and Juliet, Act II Scene II, Juliet says; "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet" This means that despite Juliet and Romeo's differences, specifically their separate families, they can still love. In this version of the play, Juliet falls in love with a peasant, refusing to become a lady of power, nor to love Romeo. Her Rose is as sweet.
