This is my own story but it was inspired by the Shadowhunter books by Cassandra Clare! I couldn't find it in the book catagories... T-T

This takes place after Among the Free and Mr. Hendricks calls Luke and his friends to a meeting because he worries that with Oscar and Aldous still AWOL, that they may raise an army to fight the new government that was set in place. And he also fears that this army could be too much for them to handle.

This is a collection of Shadow Children poems that I wrote, usually off the top of my head...

It was here on these steps where the fight for freedom started, and now the Shadow children who died tell the story of Jen's rally.

ONLY READ IF YOU HAVE READ BOOK 1 AND 2 OF THE SHADOW CHILDREN SERIES. Jen faked her death at the rally, where only 40 of her 800 fellow shadow children showed up and all got shot. Jen knows Luke remains and she can trust him more then anybody now. Jen decides there's only one way to still save all shadow children in her name- Luke. Rated T for intensity through some parts. This is my third time putting this on here, but I have to go with the rules so, if you want to have the words then listen to the song, i put little pieces before each section so you know where it starts and ends, complicated I know, but still, what can you do? This doesn't go along with the book story-line at all because i haven't read them in forever so, SORRY!

Jen is leading hundreds of innocient people to their deaths, just so future third-children might have a shot at freedom. You can imagine how much she hopes that she's right.
