Dan and Hajime, two main characters, knows how they entered the challenge battle of Battle Spirits.

In year 2220, there exist humanoid creatures known as mazoku. How much they closely resemble humans differ between each mazoku. However, no matter what, in this world, mazoku are persecuted by the government. The reason for this persecution is unknown, but just like many other things in this world it is not questioned and remains as a truth of the world. For now that is.

Much happened before August 30th. Fame overwhelmed the Core Soldiers, acclaimed stars. But the wind changed, praises turned into accusations, and everyone left them. They kept defending Grand Lolo's truth, but slowly their resolve was eroded. Only Dan and Yuuki didn't give up. Until the tragic epilogue. Then a new mission called. A new adventure, a chance to find themselves again.

They were heroes for the Earth, for Grand Lolo and for the future. But what they could have been in another life? A version of Battle Spirits characters you never thought before.
