After the revolution, Hank and Connor continue their work as detectives, investigating android-related crimes. But quickly, they realize that with human-like sentience comes human-like problems. Androids may have been granted basic rights, but the fight for justice is far from over.

After the peaceful Revolution Connor decides to step into the shadow to watch over Detroit in secret. After he is presumed dead Connor has to rely on his own skills and resources in order to survive and to protect the everyone without a certain Lieutenant discovering his secret and new life's mission. However, the two detectives' paths will still cross and secrets will be revealed.
