However, one day things turn sour when they're captured by the Kremling Krew and ransomed for the Banana Hoard. It's now up to the unlikely duo Chunky Kong and Lanky Kong to save their friends and defeat the Kremling Krew at their new island.

The direct sequel to Donkey Kong Country: The Novelization based on Donkey Kong Country II for the SNES/GBA. As Donkey Kong is kidnappped by Kaptain K. Rool and his Kremling Krew, Diddy, Dixie, and Kai Kritter band together as a trio to rescue him with assistance from the Kongs. Rated K Plus for some bad jokes and crude humor.
