A student at a conservative all-girls school tries to unravel the connection between a series of deaths and what appears to be a cursed photograph.

The story, set on Rougetsu Island, focuses on Ruka Minazuki, one of a group of girls who was held captive on the island for unknown reasons. Years after their rescue, still suffering from amnesia, Ruka, her friend/love interest who is named Genki Muto, and the two surviving girls return to the island to seek out the truth.

Twin Amakura knew all too well that dealing with tragedy couldn't be done quickly. The wounds it inflicts stay with you for a long time. The only way to deal with it is to work on it.

For the first time in a long time Mayu was free from alerts and just happy with Mio. So why couldn't she how she disappeared this summer? And why did this voice hate her?

Mio rejected Mayu's desire to become one with her. So why did she think her precious sister wouldn't refuse to stay with her in this hell?

It's been eighteen years since she killed her. Almost as long since she found out her sister had been found alive. Their connection is almost severed. They need to talk to each other.
