Some drabbles I write from time to time of Casablanca, mostly Rick/Renault. I also post these on my blog if you want to follow me there. They might be a bit OC. These are mostly practice. Enjoy!

Signor Ferrari was a well-known business rival of Rick Blaine. Why was he so eager to buy Rick's cafe? A short one-shot that takes place before the 1942 movie Casablanca. I don't own these characters or any letters of transit or even a fez.

Ilsa sits in Ricks Bar alone.

A Jewish sketch artist collects stories of Rick's bar patrons, while waiting for her family. As Yvonne's roommate, Ugarte's mistress, Sascha's bar patron, Sam's friend, Ferrari's customer, the pickpocket's repeated victim, and Annina's consultant, she finds sides to these people few others see.

WWII ends in triumph on the 8th of May, and the celebration fills the streets of New York City. For Ilsa Laszlo, the end of the war means facing the things she'd been able to push aside in order to help the war effort.

(Not done) Rick's cafe is in business again after the death of Major Strasser. Rick is getting over Ilsa once again as she leaves with Lazlo to America, The Gestapo is on Rick's tail for Strasser's death and he has to play the saint again when a Czech Jewish woman and her husband confront Rick looking for asylum.

Inspired by Al Stewart's song and an abiding ion for Peter Lorre's characters. 15ch planned.

After Victor and Isla leave for America, deep feelings and old ions rekindle. Isla knows that her true place is with Rick, but she has to find her way to him again. Rick's location is unknown, but with letters being written without delay, they will reunite. They will have to find their place somewhere, and try to fight through ultimate dangers to finally stay together.

Set post-film One-shot. . Rick sits in his cafe, gets a bit drunk, and has a meaningful conversation with a wineglass. Rated T for alcohol and copious amounts of angst. My first fic, please read and review!

Yvonne is a tool for the Nazis, spying on the poor devils in Rick's Cafe Americain. The idea comes from Gintomi's "As Time Goes By." That unfinished story has not been updated in over 2 years, so I wrote this. Previously titled "Yvonne's Story."
