Neither had known when or how it happened, nor did they know where to go from here. All they knew was that something had taken root between the two of them, and they now found themselves utterly and entirely covered in it.

The Captain was no stranger, Maria discovered some time after being sent to the von Trapp household as a teacher and governess for the summer. No, she and the Captain were not strangers at all. A story that centers around the turbulent dynamic between Georg, a disillusioned man living in Stuwerviertel, and Maria, a devout postulant advocating for reform in the district. Maria's unwavering faith clashes with Georg's hardened worldview, and both struggle to reconcile their past with their present roles in each other's lives.

Fed up with the rumors about her and her beloved Captain, Maria thinks of a new way she can prove the rumors wrong. She doesn't foresee what else might come from her solution.
