When she gets recalled with the best of the best, she realizes her work is cut out for her if she wants to make the team. And one of her biggest obstacles is a blonde hair pilot with the world's most annoying smirk. Will she make the team? And if so, at what cost?

Adieu Maverick

The world expected Pete "Maverick" Mitchell to go to the grave in a firey explosion, the result of catastrophic mechanical failure, a high-speed collision, or at the hand of the enemy. Of all things that would take Maverick to the grave, nobody expected him to linger for weeks, months. Nobody expected cancer.

Follows the journey of Donovan Grimm, known as Reaper, and Natasha Trace, also known as Phoenix, as they reunite for the first time since the Naval Academy after being recalled at Top Gun for different reasons, navigate the trials and triumphs of life as naval aviators and deal with the difficulty of their unexplored feelings.
