This success leads to more changes ahead for the new sheriff and his family. Moving into the early 20th century makes life different for the residents of Paradise. (Story #8 in the series.)

After the third season, about a year, Ethan and the kids prepare for Founder's Day but what surprises are awaiting with the return of an outlaw woman?

The mining company tries to strong arm its way through Paradise in different ways. How will the town react? Who will sell? Who will hold out? And who will make the final stand?

This is a story of the family's first Christmas together. Ethan is finding guardianship of four young children to be a challenge. With little money, a small, tight cabin and a Colorado winter, he finds himself in a huge dilemma. Christmas is coming. What is a bachelor to do? With help from some elves, life gets interesting.

Set about one year after season 3, Ethan is bored in Paradise with no crime to fight as a nearby town starts to burn but what's waiting for him when he rides on out to help?
